Thoughts: Blog #2

I have a small confession. About a month ago I started a second blog. I wanted to give it a month before announcing it here because I wanted to see if I could manage two blogs at the same time. It's been working just fine so far.

About a month ago, I noticed how much off topic stuff was either being posted here or that I wanted to post here. I decided to start a new blog in order to keep this blog on topic. In my head, I've been referring to my other blog as my Random Crap Blog. This is my Crafty Blog. So far my random crap blog has mostly been a place to dump my photos that I like and a place to document cooking attempts and outfits that I liked. Feel free to check it out if that sounds interesting to you. I've named it Knotted Together.

I'm really posting about it to tell you what stays and what goes from here. When I started taking this blog a bit more seriously, I wanted to be able to update regularly, but I didn't have enough crafty content so I opened it up to wider variety of posts. That hasn't been an issue lately so I'd like for it to get back on topic. I'm moving the off topic stuff to my other blog.

Going:
-Fashion posts that do not relate to wearing crafty stuff. Things like Thrift Store Finds will go on the other blog.
-Thoughts posts that don't relate to crafty stuff. That would be stuff like random pictures I take and adventures I go on.

Staying
-Crafty, Knitting, and Crochet posts. Duh.
-Thoughts that are about crafty stuff.
-Fashion posts about wearing hand made stuff. So things like the Four Ways to Wear My Vintage Sweater post stay. I actually hope to do more posts like that in the future.
-Fat Dog posts stay. I realize that those are off topic, but they seem to fit well over here.

If there is something you want to stay or something you want to go, feel free to leave a comment. Hell, if there is something that I didn't mention that you'd like to see like maybe WIP posts, I'd like to hear from you. If it's easier to be frank, I don't mind if you leave comments anonymously on this post.

If you just can't get enough of me, you always have the option of following both blogs. I have no intentions of cross posting stuff. I also would like to say that this blog always comes first in my head. The other one is just for when I have random things to post. I'm going to keep up my usual 2-3 posts a week over here and hopefully you won't notice much of a change.
